Approval of September 17, 2024 Interim Council Minutes: Jim moved, Mark seconded; passed
Approval of October 15, 2024 Agenda: Jim moved, Mark seconded, passed
Old Business: Gloria reported Red Cross Bloodmobile will be at CLC on March 31, a day in August TBD and another later in the year if needed.
New Business: Marissa delivered a presentation regarding the need to change streaming services by ending relationship with Christian World Media (minimal usage and $80/month cost), utilize YouTube/Facebook, each of which garner about 600 views; do so with either Auto Architect or Resi. The Zoom account was cancelled. Ginny moved to form a tech committee with members from Council and outside Council; Jim seconded; passed. Proposed committee of Mike Lenbom, Marissa Fortin, Tammy Lenbom, Jesse Roesler, Stephen Fortin, Jim Adams, Gloria Kwallek, Andrew Elbin. Motion to approve Committee members made by
Barb; seconded by Mike, passed. (Update: Jesse declined invitation.) The new Committee will meet on Sunday, October 20 after church to evaluate options and make a recommendation to the Interim Council at the next meeting. This change will allow us to have reliable streaming capability.
Mission Envelope for November: World Hunger was proposed which includes the Chetek Food Shelf: Ginny moved, Jim seconded; passed.

- Financial Report: Finance Committee proposed of Tammy Lenbom, Rhonda Carlson, Toni Cochrane, Luanne Books, Becky Taft, Denny Thraen); Mark moved, Jim seconded; passed; Finance Report approval; Mark moved, Jim seconded; approved
- Auditors: Rita Hong; two more needed; Denny is in the process of obtaining them.
- Pastor’s Report:
~ Confirmation on October 27. Requested a Council Member volunteer to contact each confirmand and give each a congratulations card. Gloria volunteered for Skylar Schaaf and Kaden Schultz, Mark for Aliza Nelson.
~ November 3rd is All Saints Sunday. Jim and Ginny will do a 10 minute presentation about expansion of the Chetek Area We Care Ministries program.
~ CLC is hosting the Thanksgiving Eve service on November 27 at 7:00 p.m.
~ Kevin Prill and Patti Lloyd are operating as Visitation Ministers (delivering communion).
~ Pastor Guy will be on vacation October 17-22 and has Study Leave November 4-8.
~ Youth Director reported roughly 15 confirmation students each week.
~ WELCA report given by Sue Johnson. Information from the report will be shared in the Newsletter; help will be requested via sign-up sheet, phone call. Information regarding how to hep hurricane victims will be posted on Facebook.
~ Pastor Guy requested that someone conduct a ‘Temple Talk’ the week November 17th or 24th. Time Talents and Treasure form will be in the upcoming Newsletter and will be referenced in the Temple Talk. Barb volunteered to do the Temple Talk and will notify Council of the date she selects.
